Good Health is Dependent on Satisfying Relationships

Cultivating Healthy Relationships ties in with the ongoing changes in Health Care Reform. To be truly healthy, we need to become our own Primary Health Care Provider.

Health is a function of knowing how our body works, how our mind processes information, and how emotions are part of everything we do. This mind, body and emotional connection is what sets us apart from our sometimes animal nature. Energy in motion is what makes these connections. Kundalini energy moves up and down our spinal column in both the Path of Liberation and the Path of Manifestation. It is possible to learn to control this movement of energy.

Insight involves looking into ourselves. Intuition is how we receive and process information about others. Insight and intuition are necessary in all relationships including those between parents and children, aging parents, siblings, friends, lovers, co-workers and even our health care provider.

Sigmund Freud once taught that we have three innate or instinctual drives: food, sex and aggression. It is true that we cannot live without food. It has been proven that self-loving and loving partnerships contribute to a long and happy life, but it is not necessary to engage in aggression of any kind.

Karl Jung realized we are part of a greater whole through what he called the collective unconscious. What happens to one of us, is experienced by all of us, for instance, when a volcano erupts or there is a tsunami or earthquake. We are all effected and out of balance at some level.

The exercises suggested in my book and CD help us move toward greater balance, which promotes health and well-being. Guided Journeys through the body are available on Visual Rainbows that allow us to feel the energy move throughout our body’s mind and to help us intentionally discover the energy or biofield of others. These  tools are intended for anyone interested in improving relationships.
